DONT JUST LIE THERE

One thing that will be good about returning to Rhode Island in the middle of winter, is that the terrible weather will give me plenty of time to stay in and quilt! I think for my first real quilt, I'm going to make it a sampler of all the techniques I want to learn. This painting by Delia Brown, titled Rocky Mountain High, has me inspired to try my hand at applique letters. I think my quilt is going to have to incorporate the phrase DONT JUST LIE THERE.
